Almost 7 years ago, a young lad in rural Ohio named Colby released a little card game called Summoner Wars with paper mats, 4 total factions, and twinkle in his eye.
One of the first big fans of this little indie game was game reviewer Tom Vasel, who at the time was a missionary living in Korea just experimenting with video reviews. Now Colby Dauch's Plaid Hat Games is one of the most acclaimed game studios in the industry, and Tom now reviews game full-time, has full-time employees, and is one of the most influential figures in board games. How far they've both come!
