Welcome to the final preview in our series of previews on the Specter Ops. Previously, we featured the A.R.K. Agents of Specter Ops.  Before that we featured the Raxxon Hunters. There are two final pieces of equipment you may receive with your copy of Specter Ops. These promos are available when you order the game from PlaidHatGames.com, and possibly through your local brick and mortar retail if they have registered as an official PHG retailer as their supplies last.

EMP Grenade

The EMP Grenade is a two time use Grenade that allows you to stop the use of a vehicle on the board. This goes for its movement: be it chasing after you or The Puppet remotely trying to move it closer for other Hunters to jump on board. Perhaps the greater benefit is jamming the motion sensor, so if you find yourself close to the vehicle and packing this card, you can reveal, jam the sensor, and make a dash in an unknown direction.

Proximity Mine

The Proximity Mine is a one time use Device that isn't immediately revealed. You mark a space on your movement sheet within two spaces of your location. At the beginning of your turn reveal the card and hunters within 4 spaces of that card become stunned. A perfect tool to lure Hunters in before tripping an objective, when they are beginning to swarm and surround you, or you need to make a clean break for the exit. It is theoretically one of the strongest pieces of equipment in the game, being able to stun all of the hunters at once.
