"Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death." --The Sacred Scrolls of the Apes
"When in doubt, use brute force." --Ken Thompson
While playing Specter Ops, you're going to spend a lot of time out-thinking your opponents, a lot of time strategizing and being cerebral. And as great as all that is, once in a while you just need to HULK SMASH. As an Agent, Orangutan gives you a chance to power through the game with brute force.
Orangutan starts the game with 6 hit points instead of 4. Besides being sneaky and staying hidden, sometimes as an Agent, you just need to be able to take some punishment. There will be times in which, in order to make progress, you have to be seen or even cornered. Orangutan gives you the confidence to take a shot or two and keep rolling.
But Orangutan doesn't just take punishment. He dishes it out as well.
Two agens pursue you, tracking you to a narrow corridor. "This is the only way out!" they exclaim. "We've got that big ape cornered!" Even though they know right where you are, you are just out of their line of sight. They're sure you can't get away and they'll get a big shot at you.
The Power Fists are kinda like that super pellet in Pac-Man. Just when you think you've got him, he's got you. Even better, lay the smackdown when they don't even realize you're nearby, increase the distance between you and the Hunters while laughing in their face as you run away.
Orangutan, just like the other A.R.K. agents, prefers to stay in the shadows, and to sneak around the Raxxon facility to accomplish objectives. But when his back is against the wall, Orangutan has the world's oldest trick up his sleeve: brute strength.
