Plaid Hat Games is ready for Gen Con and there is SO MUCH going on that we've got to jump right in and get to the GAMES! Be sure to read it all because we've got SIX major products to talk about and they all deserve their own headlines.
Stuffed Fables
Stuffed Fables is a brand new game by Jerry Hawthorne, designer of Mice and Mystics! This is Plaid Hat Games' first StoryBoard game - it comes with a 100+ page spiral bound book that acts as your scenario guide and as the board itself, as you literally jump into the pages.
Stuffed Fables is a unique adventure game in which players take on the roles of brave stuffies seeking to save the child they love from a scheming, evil mastermind. Players roll and assign color-coded dice to perform a wide variety of actions, from daring melee attacks, to leaping across conveyor belts, or steering a racing wagon down a peril-filled hill.
Stuffed Fables will be available to demo at the Plaid Hat Games booth, #1537!
Crossfire
Crossfire is the lightning quick espionage and social deduction game by Emerson Matsuuchi in the world of Specter Ops. Each game is exactly 3 minutes long. Kill the VIP as an ARK assassin or protec the VIP as a Raxxon agent. Stay alive as a bystander or become a target as the decoy... OR be the bomber and fight for your own agenda!
In Crossfire, there is always someone who has the information you need, but time is short! Quick and heart-pounding, this game can be played over and over again.
Crossfire will be for demo at the Plaid Hat Booth and will be for sale in limited quantities. Booth #1537.
Crystal Clans
Crystal Clans is a new 2-player expandable battle game from Plaid Hat Games by designer Andrea Mezzotero. Featuring stunning art by Martin Abel, Crystal Clans is a breath of fresh air, engaging players with a captivating world and fascinating new gameplay mechanics.
Go to battle with 1 of 6 powerful and unique armies and lead your squads across the battlefield, competing to gain powerful crystals which hold the power to dominate their world. Choose the adaptable Water Clan, the peaceful Flower Clan, the relentless Skull Clan, the innumerable Blood Clan, the wise Meteor Clan or the unyielding Stone Clan. Use your clan to march into the crystal zones and defeat your foe.

Ashes Expansions & Events
Ashes events are filling up! There are still spots left here and there, so sign up now if you want in on the Gen Con website! There are 2 tournament qualifiers, the finals, and a draft tournament!
Meanwhile, we'll be releasing the two new deluxe Ashes expansions at Gen Con, The Laws of Lions and The Song of Soaksend. Of course, they're not just new decks with brand new dice, they're also awesome deck boxes to carry your tournament-ready decks.

Warring Colonies
Warring Colonies is the ambitious new expansion for Dead of Winter: A Crossroads Game. Warring Colonies allows gamers to combine their Dead of Winter and The Long Night boxea in to a 4-11 player colony vs. colony mega-game!
With new characters, main objectives, crisis cards, items, and of course crossroad cards, there's a ton of content to go with new colony combat mechanics as well as the intriguing Lone Wolfe module.

We'll be demoing and selling (in limited quantites) Warring Colonies at the Plaid Hat Games booth, #1537. There are also a few official Warring Colonies events for those who want to ensure they can get a full 10-player game in! (At the moment, these are sold out.) Quantities are limited! Stop by the booth early if you want to grab Dead of Winter Warring Colonies!
The Dead of Winter Comic
Speaking of Dead of Winter, it is now a comic! Dead of Winter #1 is out featuring Sparky the Stunt dog on the cover! You can stop by the booth to get your copy (once again, limited quantities).
If you stop by the booth Thursday morning, the creators of the comic, Kyle Starks and Gabo, will be there to sign your comic! (Maybe you can catch sight of Isaac or Jon at the con to to have them sign your copy as well.)
Other
Besides all this craziness, we'll also have Specter Ops, Dead of Winter, and SeaFall demo tables. We'll have a slew of great games for sale.
Colby will be on the BoardGameGeek livestream at 3:45pm on Friday. And many your favorite Plaid Hat Games people will be around, at the booth and around the con. We'd love for you to come and say HI!
