For today's throwback I wanted to visit something that you may or may not know: that we have downloadable MP3s of story moments in the Mice and Mystics: Sorrow and Remembrance storybook read by Rich Sommer, of Mad Men fame in our webstore. I know, you might be asking HOW DOES IT GET BETTER THAN THAT? Well, 100% of the sale price of this product goes to the Jack Vasel Memorial Fund, so there's that.

One of the main aspects of Mice and Mystics is the story-driven narrative woven into the game, and with that I wanted to ask: what have been you or your family's favorite story moments in Mice and Mystics, or how do you go about reading or immersing yourselves in that story? Is it for the kids? Do you take turns? Is your Aunt Carol a striving voice-over actress who takes it upon herself to read each one? Let us know!

Click here to pre-order Tail Feathers today for $15 off the retail price and a special promo Mice and Mystics scenario with initiative and search cards compatible with Mice and Mystics: Downwood Tales!

I bought this and cannot imagine playing the game without it. Rich Sommer's voice and reading of the material is a perfect fit. Cannot recommend it enough.

I personally do amateur voice acting so I've been the one to pretty much do all of the story moments when I'm playing with adults or with handicapped children that can't read well.

We listen to Rich Sommer's voiceover if we're playing Sorrow and Remembrance, but we also have a playlist of music to play during exciting battles!
