I'm excited to learn German this Fall. Until then, I can only enjoy the beautiful sounds of the language as this commerical describes Mice and Mystics to a German audience.

I remember being blown away seeing a similar commercial for Ticket to Ride back in the day. Now I'm seeing it with one of our games, wow!

Enjoy!

You can buy Mice and Mystics (in English) from the PlaidHatGames.com store.

I both loved and was slightly creeped out by it. Captain Vurst almost made me wet myself.
Regardless...if it spreads the word on M&M, I'm all for it.

A quick, on-the-spot translation for those who want to know.

A couple notes: (1) The first four lines rhyme in German. (2) It looks like Nez has a different name in German. (3) The title "Mice and Mystics" is singular in German.

Deep in the castle, many dangers lurk
That we only come to know about from mice
They know and warn us heroically,
About the Sorceress and her terrible power

Exciting storytelling moments and a unique story guarantee you an unforgettable board game experience in a dimension that has never existed before.

Heidelburger game publisher presents "Mouse and Mystic": 4 players, 4 heroes, 4 mice! Experience exciting adventures together in a world full of danger.

Take on the roles of Prince Colin, Maginos, Rechtsbalgor, and Tilda the Healer in order to fight against the evil with united powers.

The "Maus und Mystik" commercial is pretty spectacular. I feel like it oversells the game a little. I never once experienced a human-sized mouse toting a blunderbuss who interrupted my game with sinister laughter. But then again, I hadn't made the odd decision to set up a game table in the catacombs.

Nez is actually called Rex! Don't know why really but they gave Filch another name too! He's called Finger here in Germany and that's also the German word for finger, so it's a bit weird IMO

If you close your eyes, it sounds like the intro from Run Lola Run.

So, the German edition comes with painted minis, 3D Terrain, and a live Capt. Vurst?

How much is it, including shipping to the U.S., cause I gotta have one.
