Today we introduce the Dragonborn opponent found in the Ashes Ascendancy Illusion Magic Expansion: Desrya!
This celestial diva introduces a radical new method of spending status tokens collected on her card. No longer can players anticipate with certainty what their Dragonborn opponent will do at the start of their turn.
Instead, Desrya will unleash a devastating conjured reaction spell in an attempt to render your attack plans fraught. Will your swarm of attacking units be diminished by Wane? Will she Blindside your army as you try to prod her with individual attacks? Or will you be Lulled to sleep by her melodies, punished for not having developed a sizable battlefield before engaging in combat? Desrya even keeps you guessing by shuffling in these conjured reaction spells back into her conjuration pile, making it never a certainty which spell you’ll have to face!
