Don't look now, but Summoner Wars continues to climb in the rankings. The Master Set is now in the top 25! Congratulations to Colby and the whole Plaid Hat Games crew!

If you've never been to, it's the IMDB of board games, a mega-huge resource where gamers gather to discover and discuss board games. You can find great resources for all games, including Summoner Wars, at BoardGameGeek.

The site also lets you rate games. Those ratings are averaged and then thrown into an algorithm that moves games with less ratings closer to average so that lesser known games don't climb too high. The Summoner Wars Master Set has been climbing the list since its arrival. Today it reached the top 25! This is a huge honor! By BGG users, Summoner Wars is considered one of the top 25 games of ALL TIME.

The Master Set is still a bit low on ratings (still under 2000) so it has the potential to climb even higher. I think the reason it has less ratings is because it's a two-player game and the average user on BGG seems to spend more time playing multiplayer games.

Congrats again to Colby and the playtesting team!

Btw, I think that the master set is the one who is highly ranked, "Summoner Wars" is less popular.

Sadly they have SW as two games, splitting the people who vote for you. You are most likely much , much higher.

Also, Summoner Wars ranks 3rd (up from 5th last quarter) in the "BGG Top 50 light-mid games" list.
