Filth

Filth Faction

They are a barbaric tribe of demon worshippers. They burn and despoil what traces of civilization they can find. They have no name for themselves, but other call them the Filth. At night their camps echo with the screams of prisoners and the gibbering of madmen. Bodies bend and snap as they are wracked by mutation - dark payment earned with dark rituals.

A Filth player values versatility. The Filth can mutate their flesh to better suit the task at hand. A Filth player is constantly evaluating what mutations they have at their disposal and when and where is the best place to use them.

Yes, you are correct. As you said, Freeze clearly states that the unit it is on top of has no abilities. Vine Walls don't really have abilities per say. There are rules for vine walls, but those rules aren't actually "abilities". So as I've said, yes a possessed vine wall cannot be summoned from, but it can be moved through, and all the regular vine wall rules still apply. Also, yes, Grognack can still use Walls of Ice Shard on units that are adjacent to a possessed wall or ice wall that he controls.

is this the only example where a card (vine wall) under another card (possessed wall) text is still vaild? take freeze for example, when it's on top of a unit that unit can't use it's abilitys. (text is quite clear) and on a lesser note the text on cards under other cards such as: reaper, blarf, scavanger or mutation cards also have no effects. the text on this card kinda makes it sound like the enemy wall weather it's an ice wall, vine wall or a normal wall becomes a possessed wall. a wall with "X" amount of hit points and no summoning areas. so your saying a vine wall that has become a possessed wall is still to be considered a vine wall but with no summoning areas. if this is so can the tundra orcs summoner sitll use his ability if there ice walls have become possessed walls? thanks for replying :)

Jebuh214 commented on Possessed Wall:

As I said on the Vine Wall comments, you can still move through it, Possessed Wall only hinders the ability to summon from the wall. All other abilities still remain.

if you play possessed wall on a vine wall what happens? can you move through the vine wall with out stopping or does it become a wall you can't move through or summon off of?

sitnam90 commented on Anointed:

So has anyone made a feasible Anointed rush deck? I use a fairly vanilla list of mutations, switching in Absorbtion in Edibles place. I was wanting to try a new and different deck but cant decide how I wanna go. Prolly 5 anointed/cultists, void, stoneflesh, winged, bestial, absorbtion, horror, spellsucker, and Spew or Incanter.

thenightsshadow commented on Possessed Wall:

A neat trick to do to make sure that a certain Wall will not be used is to very early use two Possessed Wall Events on the same Wall. Besides the Deep Dwarves, and maybe the Fallen Kingdom, your opponent will not want to sacrifice four cards just for the ability to summon from that Wall.

first thing i do is possessed wall my friend then he mimic my second possessed wall... well crap!

lmkcomablack commented on The Demagogue:

Here's the best way attrition your enemy to death using Demagogue. When your big 4+ HP units start getting close to death, cast a new mutation on them with fewer HP than they have damage. That kills them, which sends them into *your* magic pile. +2 magic and it is still your summon phase. You shouldn't have paid for the mutation because you probably tossed a cheap one on your minion for the kill. The original mutation is now in your hand. The big multi-HP mutation now gets played from hand, possibly replacing a near dead low cost mutation. Attack with Demagogue to search your discard for the mutation that just left your magic pile. You now have a healed fatty, and your original mutation is back in hand. All for the low low cost of one cultist.

brock commented on Anointed:

I like the Anointed as a way to spend any Mutations you just built. Having zero-cost Commons is nice, but not when your opponent is sitting on a Magic Drain and the top two cards in your Magic pile are Mutations. I'm also excited by the prospect of combining him (and the Cultist, for that matter) with the Incanter.

I LIKE TAU! commented on The Demagogue:

If you are going to take a common just to build it with mutagist, I would always take from the discard pile first. That way, you go through your deck slower.
