Fallen Kingdom

Fallen Kingdom Faction

The great gate opens and from it rides a dark figure mounted upon the back of a decayed and rotting horse. Behind him his legions wait patiently within the walls of Gil-Nam, the Fortress-City of Murder. He needs no companionship upon the road, for he is Ret-Talus, and as the original bearer of a summoning stone, he calls his forces to him at need. His is the most ancient and feared name in all of Itharia. He is a long-dead king, grown mad from the millennia he has seen pass before him, and it is his hatred of all living things that gave birth to the Summoner Wars. Witness his passage in the night... and despair.

Fallen Kingdom players know that victory does not come without sacrifice. They make the right sacrifices at the right time to gain the strength necessary for victory. Woe unto the summoner who underestimates the power of an enemy who can raise the dead!

Justantula commented on Ret-Talus:

Oh I TOTALLY read that wrong. I thought you were saying Discard Pile lol. Nightfall has the correct answer.

Nightfall commented on Ret-Talus:

But only from your discard pile ... you may not rearrange your magic pile in order to get the units you want into the discard pile or take units directly from the magic pile to raise them.

Justantula commented on Ret-Talus:

Yes, you can choose any Fallen Kingdom Common unit in your discard to raise. Whether it be a Skeletal Archer at the bottom of your discard or a Cultist at the top.

bmwrider commented on Ret-Talus:

When using your magic you can choose to use your fallen kingdoms cards from the magic pile right? They can be pulled out from under enemy cards in your magic pile? In order to use raise and greater raise.

bmwrider commented on Ghoul:

Thank you nightfall

Nightfall commented on Ghoul:

Ghouls will get the +1 Attack Value from Forbidden Ritual and since special abilities don't stack, they suffer only one wound if they did not destroy an unit. So, yep, FR is really cool for Ghoul(s) =D

bmwrider commented on Warlock:

I love these guys. Ranged unit with stolen life is with Sirian's ability. Its risky, living on the edge is a fun way to play these guys, wounding your summoner is a great way to lure them in and take advantage of a planned enemy position.

bmwrider commented on Ghoul:

? How does Forbidden Ritual work with Gouls? I assume they only get one wound marker at the end of the turn, due to the fact the FR grants an ability and abilities do not stack. Someone please verify, and add or move to FAQ

Nightfall commented on Forbidden Ritual:

If you play FR twice, all of your FK-units get +2 attack value (+1 for each FR) but "ravenous hunger" is a special ability, so it don't stack. This means, that FR is a perfect card for Ghouls, because they are permanently hungry. On the other hand you should never forget, that Sirian himself is also a fallen kingdom unit, so he is effected by this card too, adding one to his attack value but also (maybe) suffering one wound.

Eugene commented on Forbidden Ritual:

Can i play "Forbidden Ritual" twice during one turn to add 2 to each unit AV? As i remember, the rules cares only about duplicate card abilities, which is not stacked. Does it mean, that Units which not destroy a Unit during that AP receive only 1 wound marker?
