Fallen Kingdom Faction

The great gate opens and from it rides a dark figure mounted upon the back of a decayed and rotting horse. Behind him his legions wait patiently within the walls of Gil-Nam, the Fortress-City of Murder. He needs no companionship upon the road, for he is Ret-Talus, and as the original bearer of a summoning stone, he calls his forces to him at need. His is the most ancient and feared name in all of Itharia. He is a long-dead king, grown mad from the millennia he has seen pass before him, and it is his hatred of all living things that gave birth to the Summoner Wars. Witness his passage in the night... and despair.

Fallen Kingdom players know that victory does not come without sacrifice. They make the right sacrifices at the right time to gain the strength necessary for victory. Woe unto the summoner who underestimates the power of an enemy who can raise the dead!

Hilarious and fun to start a turn with more units than your opponent, play DS, kill all your commons and heal your champ, Magic Drain, the LotD to end up with more board presence at the end of the turn as well. Very frustrating for an opponent, too.

Easily my ffavorite FK champ. Even though fear only has a 1/3 chance of applying itt makes your opponent hesitate. With an early forcced summon you can bear him down on an enemy wall quick, and have your opponent choose between losing the wall or sending commons to ineffectually deal with him.

I went through a cycle with these guys. First I loved them cause they're cool. Then I hated them because Clarissimus wiped the floor with me when I used them in a tourney in Cleveland. Then on iOS I came to appreciate them again, useful in the right circumstances when you might be able to keep your new zombie for a turn and Dark Sacrifice him. I have 8 in my regular FK deck.

Which is why I run Zombie Warriors over Reavers. Reavers are quantifiably the worst Fallen Kingdom Unit.
