Cloaks

Cloaks Faction

They are a nomadic nation of outcasts, driven into hiding and driven for revenge. The Cloaks launch hit- and-run attacks against those factions whose ambitions they disagree with, and then scavenge what supplies they can from their victories.

The Cloaks rely on stealth and espionage to win their battles. Cloaks players know how to find the weaknesses in their opponent’s defenses and exploit them, cheating opponents of their best cards. Thieves force opponents to discard cards, and spies and assassinations keep enemy factions from using cards at ideal times.

Recent Unit Comments

Maniacalraven commented on Violet:

Well maybe... from the FAQ : "A unit is considered to have been "attacked" if it is affected by an attack in any way" This seems like, yes all 3 units are attacked by Violet. Then it goes on to say for the attacker, only targeted unit counts. If this is the case, the +2 AV (and the rest of the ability) only activates for the target unit. But there's no way to do +2 AV for only the target... I would read it the first way, all units are attacked by Violet

Harlow commented on Assassinate:

Of course, mutants are commons as well. Enjoy killing a Mutant for free.

szperacz commented on Assassinate:

Help me, if you are playing against filth, can you destroy a common unit that is mutated?

Kemott commented on Daring Plan:

Only units that attacked but didn't destroy an unit are discarded.

stohot commented on Daring Plan:

Do all your commons and champs get discarded at the end of the turn, or just the ones that attacked and failed to destroy their target? And if 2 units attack 1 enemy unit. The first unit doesn't destroy it, but the 2nd unit does. Is the first unit discarded?

Steamtech commented on Violet:

That would depend on who she targets. She only "attacks" one unit, and the other two are affected by the attack. Daring plan specifics a unit that is attacked, not affect by an attack. As long as the one at the end of the line is destroyed, she's good. If she gets the two in between, but not the actual target of the attack, she's discarded.

Kemott commented on Violet:

If Violet with Daring Plan attacks 3 units but only kills 2, is she discarded?

Elien commented on Renegade:

During its movement phase it can either move or attack, and during its attack phase it can either move or attack.

Ranger commented on Renegade:

Does this Renegade forces the unit to attack in movement and move in attack phase? or can it choose to move in movement and attack in attack phase from the word "you may"?

Nightfall commented on Sin-Sin:

Yes, you can double charm but this would cost you two of your three attacks, so only one of the charmed commons can attack. BUT you could charm the same unit twice to move that unit 4 spaces (or more if the unit is for example a thief using raid) or you could charm a unit, with an "after moving" ability like the vermins. So there are possibilities to use a double charm. I hope that helps. =)
