Cloaks

Cloaks Faction

They are a nomadic nation of outcasts, driven into hiding and driven for revenge. The Cloaks launch hit- and-run attacks against those factions whose ambitions they disagree with, and then scavenge what supplies they can from their victories.

The Cloaks rely on stealth and espionage to win their battles. Cloaks players know how to find the weaknesses in their opponent’s defenses and exploit them, cheating opponents of their best cards. Thieves force opponents to discard cards, and spies and assassinations keep enemy factions from using cards at ideal times.

Recent Unit Comments

Jman commented on Assassin:

In the sand cloaks, yes. There is absolutely no reason to use these guys over shaman. With vlox however, they can prove to be pretty useful at taking down champs. Which is much needed in cloak decks. And they serve their purpose in jexik I suppose. You pretty much just need to bypass the battle on the field and throw everything you've got at the summoner.

commandercool commented on Assassin:

These are awful.

TheOtherJonas commented on Vlox:

Ever since receiving the Cloaks deck, I have won every game I've played. I use Scrappers to close in on the opposing summoner (usually by means of careful wall placement), then go for the throat by using Vlox's "Master of the Art" to Blindside the summoner, while under the protection of "Cloak of Shadows". I also appreciate the low summon cost of the common units. Even though they are not the most powerful of units, they are cheap and versatile. For this, the Cloaks have become my favorite faction.

Jman commented on Bruiser:

Yes because of the wording on the bruiser. It simply says you cannot attack this UNIT if it inflicts a wound. It would be different if it said you cannot attack this bruiser.

commandercool commented on Bruiser:

Do these synergize w/Vlox's Master of the Art?

Jman commented on Scrapper:

Cool to use with Daring Plan. Summon a few of these move one next to the enemy summoner and start beating the life out of it. Jexik has plenty of ways to help set this up, and is very funny when it happens.

Jman commented on Renegade:

Great with Vlox, not only will he give Vlox the potential to deal 4 damage in one turn, you can also use the renegade to protect him after he attacks.

Jman commented on Doc:

He's ridiculously strong with Vlox and The Admiral. Your unit's will never die. And is almost impossible to stop once you get it going. The down side is if you heal with both Vlox and Doc then you only get 1 attack that turn. Hawk helps even that out a little with his ability. And is still worth doing even tho you only get one attack.

Jman commented on Spider:

Perfect in Marek. Combos well with almost all the event abilities and is really easy to get to your opponents back row. If the enemy summoner isn't on the back row, and you want to get some use out of Spiders attack value, put marked target and escape under him and marek, shoot the summoner for 3, then use Escape to get him to the back row and out of danger. Not a bad thing to do with theives either.

killercactus commented on Vlox:

Vlox gets all of the abilities, but I don't think he could use Teacher because he doesn't have an EA under him.
