    Huh.

There's gotta be a way to make Deceivers really sick - there just has to be. I can already see a 10x Deceiver deck somewhere in there. Maybe go heavy on commons with Deceivers and Controllers, and save your magic to let Tacullu Counter Summon their champions?

I don't think I really care for Breakers. They seem like the Raechel Loveguard of commons to me right off the bat. That power could be really good though, especially when combined with Kalal. Potentially sick with Magic Drain, too.

The champions are all really awesome. I think I like Sorgwen the best - 3 ranged attack and an additional attack per turn for only 5 magic.... I know she's got low life, but that's what Deceivers are for!

Oh, and by the way - HOLY FREAKING RANGED UNITS BATMAN!!!

Deceivers ain't that strong. They don't block champions, and they only have 1 life. Yeah they can be quite efficient against the Vanguards and Cave Goblins, but let me assure you that each faction got tools to deal with the Benders. I've actually seen the CG ruin a lot of Bender's days!

As for Breakers, note that they don't need to kill for their ability to work. It works after attacking, whatever the result is. So they basically Break 1 card per attack. And as much as destroying useless commons goes, decking somebody while the Benders still have half their resources is quite a good way to win! They either win the long run, or destroy the opponent's magic (if the card that got Breaked is a Champion or cool Event).

Very nasty group of units, those Benders. I'm eager to see the first comments of people using them!

Wait...a vision... I forsee a great defenders vs. decievers debate in the near future...

My guess, visions aside ;-), is that the event cards will be held till the faction section is updated. A little disappointing, but a whole faction! SWEET!

Wow, this is a really different faction. Low-life and expensive ranged units with very powerful controlling abilities. They seem weak to me at first but I haven't played with them so I wouldn't really know.

Default This is a pretty wack faction

Mind control? All ranged attacks? 3 hit point champ?

I have mixed feelings about the Benders. They all seem really cool, but I just am not sure about actually using them. I love that they are all ranged. I've never viewed range to have an overwhelming advantage, but being able to get the first strike is going to be critical for the Benders as many of the commons aren't going to live very long.

I love the Breakers though...I'm seeing them rock everybody in a free build with Defenders protecting them.

They seem to me (at first glance) to really rely on ALL their units to work together to have a chance. Using controllers to blast enemies into engagement with deceivers for example, or using Kalal's ability to put two stronger cards on top of the deck and then follow up with a couple of breaker attacks to force the discard. Hell Sorgwen can always get in on the act too, she can attack and then get a second attack out of one of those breakers (or the harder hitting controllers if there is another good target for a blast).

They seem very weak to champions to me - I guess that's where Counter Summon comes up. Even so, having to save up magic to summon your own (higher cost) commons + Your own champs + magic for counter summon seems like a tall order to me. They definitely have the potential to really control not only the pace of the battle but the whole map in general, but getting that set up off the ground is going to be one hell of a task.

Though I would say the very same thing about the cloaks and the vanguards (Not that they play the same - in that their style of play while cool is near impossible to implement successfully) if I didn't know what their event cards were. Without stuff like cloak of shadows, raid and assassinate I'd be down on the cloaks for being way to hard to implement hit and run tactics and without cards like Divine Strength, Summoning Surge and Holy Judgment I'd say that the slow rolling defensive line of the Vanguard is just to costly to try and set up. The real heart of any given faction deck is it's summoner and that summoners events - they dictate more than anything else (particularly when you start deck-building) how the faction will most effectively play.

I'd like to try using controllers to bring the enemy commons next to deceivers. If you surround your deceivers enough, the opponent can't destroy them without getting through his own units first.
