    Default Any Kickstarter Supporters Here?

    A new kickstarter was just made live by my brother. I hope you'll all check it out. He wants support of great gamers and wants to get his game out there for the world!

    Check out Delta V: The game of Spatial Combat

    If the link doesn't work try searching spatial combat on Kickstarter.

    I see they made it - even though I just joined this group today. If you hear of any good kickstarters, let me know.

    Here's a couple of good ones.

    Oddball Aeronauts - a 'no surface needed' game (deck of cards is held in the hand) with great artwork

    Hero's Wanted - This game looks like it's going to be an absolute blast to play.

    I kickstarted both and am really looking forward to playing them.

    I also pre-ordered 'Dead of Winter' and would highly suggest that one as well.

    I can second dl-2074's recommendation for Oddball Aeronauts. The folks over at maverick:muse sent me a preview copy of the game, and while it wasn't quite finished, I had a fabulous time with it. Only about five days left on that one.

    You can read my preview here, if you're so inclined: http://spacebiff.com/2014/02/07/oddball-aeronauts/

    The Kickstarter project I'm backing right now is a small Eurogame called Province. I know some people are sick of microgames, but I am a fan of this project because the game is being manufactured in the United States, so no waiting for the games to come over by boat. Plus, it looks like a fun little game you can take anywhere and it's only 5 dollars.

    Check it out here:http:// https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/laboratory/province-a-competitive-building-microgame-for-2-pl

    I have kickstarted that one too. It looks like a fun 2 player game plus for that price you can't go wrong. No reason not to back this one.

    I also backed that, and Lagoon. The one I am most excited about right now is The Legends of the Wulin. It's a Wuxia themed competitive RPG. I read through the rules they've posted so far, and the mechanics look good. Thematically everything jives and I hope they post a PnP so I can test it out. I've been enjoying Pathfinder quite a bit, but as a Wuxia fan this is gamer nirvana.

    I am particularly intrigued by the battle mechanics. There are elements of dice rolling with luck mitigation, and some bluffing on top of the character's stat based damage formula. I haven't seen anything quite like it. It also has secret agenda cards which determine your win condition, like Dead of Winter. Keep waiting for the icon to morph into a boat at the store. {Cmon...cmon!}

    The main problem is that you dont know that you are ever going to get anything for your money on KS.

    I mean take the Oculus Rift... people donated millions, then they sold out to Facebook and you are screwed if you backed.

    I just supported War of Indines Remastered http://kck.st/1mRFhcK as my first kickstarter project and I'm pretty sure they are going to deliver. I guess you just have to be really careful who you back.
