If the position's still open by March 11, Count on me applying. Until then, I'm too freaking busy.

Hey Joe, any updates on this available? Still hunting for apps for awhile before making some selections? Am I just too impatient?

Too bad you can't just do it about 1 game, or else I had an idea in mind.

I too was wondering this. Hopefully we're not being impatient.

    Oh, we're probably being impatient.

Hopefully we're not being obnoxious is what I'm more worried about

Speaking as someone who has gone through the writing submissions process from both ends, I can say that this sort of thing can often take a surprisingly long time. Whoever is reading the applications doesn't just read them — they need to read and re-read and catalog the various strengths and weaknesses and talents and concerns of each applicant (and all that in addition to their regular duties). Then they need to think it over, probably talk to their own higher-ups, and re-evaluate with every new submission that comes their way. Depending on how big the project, it can take weeks to months to decide. My personal guess is that this process will take at least two weeks. Considering that Joe's original post wasn't even one week ago, I think it's best to just sit tight.

Though of course, everyone works differently. I could be totally wrong.
