    Initial Game
    Winner: Rallul
Errata Card Balance Compared to Old Cards: N/A
Errata Card Fun Compared to Old Cards: N/A
Errata Cards Played in the Game: N/A
Errata Cards Built as Magic in the Game: None
Comments. Malenatar was extremely aggressive - Rallul lost a wall very quickly, and another was nearly dead. However, Mal forgot to Unify + Guard (and forgot that walls aren't safe!) so Rallul pulled Wall Transference into Magic pulse. It should have been game - but Rallul whiffed - only 4 hits out of 11. Mal managed to hold on (and possibly could have won if he had built 1 magic more and pulled a Commander + Unify combo!) but died a few turns later. Fury of Godshome never got played, but it's threat felt less. We felt that if anything - it was Magic Pulse that needed a change - at least a cap of some kind. Game was close.

    Reverse Game
    Winner: Malenatar
Errata Card Balance Compared to Old Cards: Slightly more balanced? - hard to say
Errata Card Fun Compared to Old Cards: Similar
Errata Cards Played in the Game: 1xFury of Godshome
Errata Cards Built as Magic in the Game: None
Comments: Malenatar was, again, very aggressive - and Rallul lost his starting wall on turn 2 to Onslaught combos. Despite Channelled Summon and Wall Transference combos Mal pressed on - protecting himself from a potential Magic Pulse with multiple Unifies + a Guard two spaces behind. Rallul was so crowded and hand clogged (despite building everything) that he could not escape. Mal whiffed 10 out of 14 dice, or else the game would have been over sooner. Rallul use Fury of Godshome to kill one unit - but there weren't enough walls/wounded Golems to maximise its effects. Mal's troops finished Rallul off eventually. Game was tight.

    These are the Vassal dice.
They haunt your footsteps in the Vassal forums.
They lurk in the shadows of every Vassal board.
They hang like the sword of Damocles over the construction of every Vassal deck.
    They wait.
    They watch.
    They win.

TEST = Scraven (Marcin's built deck)
CONTROL = Malenatar (PrometheusLKR's built deck)

Comments: If Dinky had been summoned, there was only one point in the game after the starting skirmish when his AV would have been less than 3. He's still an obvious autoinclude, but wasn't hanging over the game as the specter of instant death he would have been otherwise. Unfortunately, Scraven never even needed to summon him. Thanks to Wraiths, he was able to set up an indestructible fortress and leave no targets to attack, leaving Malenatar to suicide units trying to kill his walls. Please fix Wraiths--a 4-life blocker for 1 that gives no magic when it dies is incredibly powerful even without the other abilities.

Comments: Scraven came much closer to dying this time as I was basically figuring out his defensive tricks on the fly, but with Wraithwalls his economy is still much better than Malenatar's. Once Sand Wyrm one-shotted Quen, Marcin conceded (I was on track to get all 3 champs and he was probably only going to get 1 more). Never drew Dinky, but although it was a more common heavy board, the threat of Dinky still was useful in preventing Mal from forcing his way further into my side of the field.

    TEST = Ret-Talus (adalbert's built deck)
CONTROL = Malenatar (Mirek's base deck)

Comments: Mirek managed to overwhelm me with an aggresive play and clever positiong of his units. Ret got wounds from Aspirant but stil managed to force summon Skhull (thanks to Augur). We both agreed I had pretty terrible die-rolls. Ret got killed with a nice summon Varn + Unify + move Varn with Strategic Positiong combo. PotD event is still work in progress in my opinion. Even though I managed to get ZW from Mirek's discard as a result of PotD (after Skhull attack) I think it's still too weak/situational/hard to set-up compared to MD and that is also opinion of my fellow players (I played 7 Ret games the week before).
