    Default Painting Tail Feathers

Working on a set for Jerry to take to Essen. Thought I should probably share the photos here.

The measuring twig that comes with the game is the one you see pictured above. It is a sculpted plastic component.

The stick is for measuring range, yes it's the one from the game. The flight templates are cardboard, maybe that's what you're thinking of?

The one pictured above is painted tough, it is the same yellowish plastic as the minis out of the box.

Are there any issues with switching riders after the figures are painted?

Nope, there is a little peg and hole. I painted them separately. If you painted a rider while it is on the bird I could see some issues separating them, but no different than magnetizing your Warhammer minis.

With the completion of the ground units Tail Feathers is finished and ready to fly!

It was a really fun set of minis to paint. The birds were especially fun to paint, and I really loved Aerijin. The blues and silvers complimented each other so well. The armor and bird is a really cool sculpt. Can't wait for this game to come out.
