Siege of Columbia to offer an epic scale struggle
I have just a quick note for you all heading into the weekend regarding the newly announced BioShock Infinite: The Siege of Columbia board game by Plaid Hat Games. Colby has been interviewed by The Verge and the interview reveals some new details regarding the game.
Rather than duplicate the video game's experience, the board game will put you in the same universe and timeline, but in control of one of the two major factions vying for control over the sky city of Columbia. Individual characters seem to still be present as Booker and Elizabeth can affect what is happening.
Just from reading the article, the game sounds to me like an epic, thematic battle game with several large-scale struggles and dynamics going on simultaneously.
