Toronto Summoners.

I am just wondering if anyone from the Toronto area plays summoner wars. I have very little experience with the game considering I got into it last week, but it would be cool to get a tournament going. It seems like it is very easy to organize, nothing like our beloved Heroscape.

I'm guessing people just bring there own mat and their faction and everything is good to go?

Hi! Fellow Torontonian here, If you're ever up for a game I'm sure I could give you a run for your money .

As for a tourny, Perhaps a venue like TABScon or Snakes & Lattes would be best?

Snakes and Lattes does tournaments? I wouldn't think they'd want to reserve so much table space for people who are there for the gaming and not so much for the coffee.

I used to play at 401 like 9 years ago for mtg but I quit playing mtg

I don't mind heading to a place to meet some SW players, also if there is enough player in Markham, I can organize some event as well

I'd be happy so long as it's TTC accessible.
I'd at least 8 players, I can think of four already who would go for it.
Snakes & Lattes would probably be your best bet. They're looking for tournys to run.

I know SubtlyArtistic and I would be playing for fun more than prizes (We're playtesters and have it all already), but any prizes would be welcome, but not needed.

So who is going to host? I live at Markham, as you can see, it is rather far from Bloor and Bathurst

edit: I don't mind if there is prize or not, I would like to play for fun first, we can organize tourney down the road once we get a healthy group of people
