    Default The Book of Torodin

    The Book of Torodin
Champion of the Mountain Vargath - Master Set

Bio: Torodin rose to prominence during the Giant Wars. He blinded the Giant called Klaw Bumpa in the Battle for Kornith Pass, and using a spear, prodded the howling monster into an oncoming group of its allies. The blinded giant, flailing in agony, sent four of his own plummeting from the treacherous cliffs. And without a moment’s hesitation, Torodin then flung his spear through the open mouth of Chief Burgga, instantly breaking the will of the Giants, and securing the pass for the day.

    Rulings and Clarifications
Q: Can I end a movement on a common unit with 1 life, thus killing it with Trample and emptying the space?
A: No. The space must already be empty when Torodin ends his movement.

Q: With Torodin's Advance, can Torodin inflict more than one "Trample" wound on a unit?
A: No. Since he has a continuous long movement, common units can only be wounded once. However, Torodin could move multiple time through the same unit, but simply won't inflict more than one wound.

Hmmm... wonder if the Vargoth will have their version of a Chant of Haste? With this guy, I hope so.

My bet is something like move torodin 4 spaces this turn, or something like that, that is tailor made to take out/get through commons, as opposed to Miti having to stop every other space because it he can't stop on a unit.

Actually, Torodin's Advance "upgrades" Torodin's movement by 2. That means that if you play Torodin's Advance, and then the two Superior Planning to replay Torodin's Advance twice, Torodin could then move up to 8 spaces on a turn!

However, note how a unit can't be trampled more than once with the wording and that combo. Well, you can move over that unit more than once, but it won't get multiple wounds.

This is rather important and player might miss, because Miti can use Chant of haste to trample a single unit multiple time since each Haste resolves separately

I didnt realize it is different in this case where Torodin under Advance only deal 1 damage regardless how many time it trample a single unit since it is only one single movement but it does make sense once you put more thought about the wording

however even though torrodin can only deal 1 damage to each unit he tramples, he can move 4 spaces without stopping unlike miti.... so as long as there is an open spot adjacent to the enemy summoner and no defenders lurking around chances are your not gonna stop him easy
Thinking of opening a gameing store in the Joilet IL area. if anyone sees this and would stop by now and then PM me and encourage me lol
