I meant weak as low hit-points units, and thus easy to kill units. I'm not sure we ever let slip a weak faction to print yet!

And good luck for your bet: aggressive factions like the Tundra Orcs and the Mountain Vargaths really aren't easy to deal with with the Benders. I've had very epic games with Colby himself on that very match-up!

These guys are going to have a tough time against the orcs since they can't steal ice walls.

Eh, mindcontrolling a Smasher would be worse than stealing a wall. Plus you can steal a freeze and use it on Grognack. The Benders do fine vs the TO, fear not!

Unless you're waiting to summon Bragg, I don't see why you'd hold on to a Freeze, especially v. the Benders.

Hey, I'm not saying I'd do it, but it'll happen when people first get used to the Benders. AND i'm trying to reassure peole that the Benders won't get creamed by the TO.

Mimic seems to be very situational considering plenty of events are faction specific. Perhaps if you get to control them with Gulldune. But still..

It's not situational at all. Well, using the event might be, as some factions have a lot of faction-specific events, but you still steal resources from your opponent. The idea is that you block him from doing something, and at worse you simply build the event as magic. Pure gain.

Now, will come a time when your opponent will be prepared, and grabbing events will be much more difficult than it was in the first few games against the Benders. Still, seeing the whole hand and stressing them out into not keeping their events too long is a very sweet side effect!

Ah indeed. The name "Mimic" implies you actually want to use the event, but what you've pointed out is that stealing is just as devastating. Very sneaky. Hehe. Now I like it. It would suck though if they don't have events haha.

Take Cave Goblins for instance. I don't think Benders could use any of their events. But they have such good events that stealing could ruin a great combination

Against GD it'll be fun because iirc even heroic stregth will be usable

If, between Gulldune and Mind Control, you have some of your opponent's units, could you use cards like SotP, GI, etc. on the stolen units?
