    This guy is a MONSTER. For those of you having trouble crowding or destroying walls, this guy alone will make you understand how it works, and how difficult it is to counter. He is soooo difficult to kill.

    I really enjoy the Deep Dwarves reinforcements though, as they give a somewhat different flavour to the new units while still keeping some theme and mechanics previously used. Notice, for example, that this guy is one of the rare DD units that doesn't need you to pay magic to activate a part or the entirety of its ability!

    Oh, and I was late for some Books. Doing them all right away.

    It won't. Ever again. But great unit anyway. A Unit whaling away at a Wall is the best way to anchor a solid sustained offense, and this guy's great at it because he can effectively ignore commons attacking him while you have Scholars and Gem Mages pushing forward.

    Maybe he likes his club/axe better than swords! It's probably better at breaking rock into bite-size pieces, anyway.

    First impression:
    The Troll looks like he belong in the Cave Goblins... and looks like he stole his wardrobe from Grubs... lol. 7 cost for 2/7 melee is under-par, he really forces you to eat rocks to gain those +1's... I guess at least the DD finally has a "tank" of their own.
    I agree that he does seem place, breaking the normal trope of trolls going with orcs and goblins. But Deep Dwarves are NOT normal dwarves by any means. I dont think he is undercost though. While Fire Drake might have more attack, and Admiral more health, I think the potential for wall destruction and self-regen more then makes up for the differential.

    Imagine a DD's healing build!
    Sairook + Khexu + Deep Troll = Never-Dying
    I was thinking the same thing. It looks like it'd work similar to my Khexhu/Dragos/Anica build.

    " Kind of disappointed that for all the advanced magic of the Deep Dwarves, they don't seem to have invented swords, so trolly is left wielding a Tundra Orc crude weapon.
    Why forge a complex weapon for such a monster when a simple club powered by his musculature build would probably be much more cost efficient. I don't see Krung carrying any weapons

    Since his regeneration is also less usable then the one from other champs (Khexu/Blarg) I see him as an avarage or weeker champ overall. Maybe I'll be surprised once I see him in play - such a cool card need to be played from time to time
    I really disagree here. Both Dragos and Blerg rely on actually killing an enemy unit to get the regen. Khexhu forces you to pay magic. Deep Troll simply needs to wound a wall just once to get a regen.

    This guy definitely looks interesting, but I'll have to see what the new commons do because as has been said, he'd generally fit better in the MV or GD.
    DD are actually extremely good at destroying walls without reinforced commons. Gem Mages and Scholars can do something nasty to an exposed wall. Throw a Deep Troll in there and I think the DD's wall destruction is really going to shine, especially via exploiting Sprog as Sauam

    I love this guy so much. I'm wondering if he and Piclo combo well together, as their non-magic abilities would work great with commons imo.

    Very nice character. I'll be slotting him in instead of Sprog. When he's latched to an enemy wall, he stays there lol. No one's gonna budge him from it. Anyone realize its only a week before the release of the expansions? I can't wait! Also i'm kinda expecting 2 preview actually ...

    W= Enemy Wall
    D= Deep Troll

    He will be so deadly in either of these positions. Especially you if prevent rear attack, leaving only one space open for an attacker.
