Gosh-dangit Sneezy. Now I have to go play wc3. And I got homework to do you jerk

Edit: OH MY GOD THAT IS THE COOLEST LOOKING THING EVER....

Wow. He looks so cool. I cant wait to see his bio. His stats are about on par with other 7-costers. He lacks the AOE of some other high cost champs, but he is the only one besides Khexhu and Dragos who can regenerate.

Very cool. Nice and strong unit overall, although for 7 magic, not sure he really does enough for the DD. His 2 attack isn't really strong enough to take out other champs. Good for hammering walls, but not sure this guy really helps out with what the DD are good at.

AWESOME art though. And still looks like a TON of fun to play. I like him, just wish he was like a Mountain Vargath champ, haha.

    Deep Troll

    First impression:
The Troll looks like he belong in the Cave Goblins... and looks like he stole his wardrobe from Grubs... lol. 7 cost for 2/7 melee is under-par, he really forces you to eat rocks to gain those +1's... I guess at least the DD finally has a "tank" of their own.

    Second impression:
Sprog is more viable if one can image the derp-derp combo he can do pairing up with Deep Troll. Although even if Deep Troll goes solo, it can go smashes enemies, than once he suffers around 4-5 wounds, retreat it and starts feeding DD's own rocks to it to heal back fully... Really powerful regeneration ability even if it looks weak in first glance. This guy here further focus on DD's main theme of stalling. It is very easy to see Deep Troll suffer badly but in just a few turn heals back completely. Eating enemies rocks is just icing.

    Imagine a DD's healing build!
    Sairook + Khexu + Deep Troll = Never-Dying

Grubs is definitely the "after." Kind of disappointed that for all the advanced magic of the Deep Dwarves, they don't seem to have invented swords, so trolly is left wielding a Tundra Orc crude weapon.

This guy definitely looks interesting, but I'll have to see what the new commons do because as has been said, he'd generally fit better in the MV or GD.

love the artwork and the style.

Looking only at the mechanic however I consider him weak. Would have loved him with 3/7 (like fire drake). It seems like regeneration is generally very expensive for all champs. You pay at least one mana for it. Since his regeneration is also less usable then the one from other champs (Khexu/Blarg) I see him as an avarage or weeker champ overall. Maybe I'll be surprised once I see him in play - such a cool card need to be played from time to time

The Deep Troll probably won't win a game by himself. However, he's kind of like the Admiral, in that he's a support champ who will carry your team to victory. Or, to put him in rpg terms, he's a tank. He'll just sit on your wall and eat it and not die while someone else (maybe Gem mages, Gren, Picclo, Kynder, whoever) come up and win for you.

He's a great unit for blocking and destroying walls. He's going to cause your enemies to waste attacks on him while he stays alive eating at their wall, allowing your other units to get some attacks in. I love the artwork.
