Default A good use for Kaeseall?

    Hi there guys,
I would like to ask you for advices about using Kaeseeall properly. Though 2 dice ranged attack is always good, I use her just as a support unit.
The only good use I eventually do for her Blazing Conscription, is to take control of a champion that moved next to Kaeseeall to attack her, then move him where I can easily surround and kill him that same turn or the next. Of course that happens seldomly due it requires my opponent to intentionally left his hero next to her, and usually that means that Kaeseeall was wounded. Taking control of a common is equally difficult and hardly as useful.
Can you point me out anything I am missing?

    Thanks

You're not really missing anything. That is the hard part about Kaeseeal and the upcoming Scagg. Opponent's know that those abilities are bad to be next to and so they shy away from them. They're harder still to use offensively. Burning Conscription is a good defense against Archangel though

A good use for kaeseeall... well it make it an easy choice to decided which champ should be swapped out in favor of Holleas or Laleya... other than that how your using her is pretty much what most people do.

The great part of using Kaeseeall and Scagg is that the opponents know that these abilities are bad to be next to so they shy away from them. Allowing them to shrug off an inane number of pathetic one-die ranged attacks and decimate an opponent's ranged troops.

Also fun to note is that Kaeseeall can Blazing Conscription Dwarf Defenders, making her immune to their abilities as long as only one at a time is adjacent to her.

Nothing groundbreaking here but a couple things to note. I like to use Kaeseall to defend (shut down) half of my side of the field from enemy invasion. Similar to Revis Island, I like to position her alone in Kaeseall's Corner (below). Your opponent is left deciding whether they want to whittle Kaeseall down (often not a good exchange of points for most units) or simply abandon that section of the map and concentrate on the more exposed area.

In my book it's a good thing whenever you can limit the potshots on Elien.

When attempting to crack Kaeseall's Corner, sensible opponents will attack from afar or will only send single melee units after her (fearing Blazing Conscription).

While Kaeseall doesn't necessarily have to be in a corner, it is important that she has only one side exposed to the enemy. Should an unfavorable matchup threaten Kaeseall, she can duck back around the corner (space permitting) or get reinforcements in the form of Blaze Stepping Warriors or newly summoned units.

    Happy Summoning!

Lol I did this once, though i surrounded her with 2 defenders and 1 defender touching both of the defenders. 1x g.burn later though and she still got away! >_<

Much like Grognack's Walls of Ice Shards, I think a ranged champ that give your opponent's units a good reason not to get adjacent to her isn't half bad. That deterrent factor is useful.

Then if they're silly enough to leave the Eater adjacent to her, you can laugh about it all night.

Any time you can limit usage of a significant portion of a battlefield, you are controlling your enemies actions. I could also see using her as a guard for your summoner by placing her one space forward and to the side of your summoner, thus making it a more difficult for you enemy to decide to base your summoner.

I've had good luck with her because I used to think she was melee for some reason. As a result she constantly was able to get in shots against protected units, and occasionally a summoner.

I think she's a fine unit. You just have to look at her range as a secondary ability instead of Blazing Conscription.

One time I was versing the Tundra Orcs and I was trying to figure out the elves (very seldom do I play the elves) and my opponent moved krung adjacent to her expecting to finish her off. I was happy to say that krung wiffed all his die allowing me to take control of him for a turn. It was awesome.
