There are 61 search cards in the set. Though a total of 63 if you pre-order and get the two promo cards.

    You know. Just sayin'.

Ah. I was wondering regarding the promo cards whether or not there was a set size for the search deck, but if the Graphic Designer says so...

I've been wanting to get my kids into D&D like games for some time. I pre-ordered Mice & Mystics on impulse. $50 (plus $15 shipping) was a hard swallow for a frugal minded parent, but the Redwall appeal sold me. Two promo cards (an mere 3% addition to the deck) didn't seem like much. An extra chapter would have been better.

Wow, you can really cover a table with all of the bits...

I played the demo of Mice and Mystics at Origins today. I'm definitely not regretting my pre-order.

Judging by the rules...I'm guessing more mice figures and expansions are planned. I can't wait.

The redwall appeal also sold it for me.

My wife and I also played at Origins (perhaps with you Ryjin; remember a lot of cheese jokes and Story time with Issiac? ) and it was the deciding factor for pre-ordering. Amazing game play, tons of opportunities for joking, and huge replay value, even if the story in between certain tiles stays the same what happens on the tile can be vastly different and really interesting. We were able to sneak in a second game later in the con and were able to chase off the cat, MAN that was hard but totally rewarding. Awesome game and will be a steal as a pre-order with all those high detail minis (the con above picture is just the tip as far as minis). Also, someone above asked about leading a group of newer or younger players; once you play a chapter I think you can confidently help someone decide on the tough move decisions, while having them feel they are in control (rolling the rice) and adding to the party's success (using their abilities, choosing which ones to get by leveling). Best thing we saw at Origins bar none and cannot wait to get it!

I am very low on funds due to a few real life problems. I really want this game and was wondering if anybody would like to trade so i can get my hands on this. I have a Mansions of Madness by fantasy flight that was played twice and is just gathering dust...this game cost me about $60 to get at the time. Anybody willing to trade for a Mice & Mystics pre-order? Would make a small family happy, and it'd be nice to get it before it hits the $75 price, then it will most deffinately be out of my reach for quite a long while :/ Just shoot me a PM, cheers. ~Goof

EDIT: I also have a premium painted Harvey Walters from winning a Watch-It-Played Contest by Rodney Smith (Signed by Rodney, Luke and Andrea!), if you would like me to include this as well I will.

Isn't today supposed to be a preview Monday?
