Summoner Wars Tournament in Austin MN

Hi guys! This year Gamers Reunion was put on hiatus, so I am planning on moving the tourney to Austin MN. I plan on running my Heroscape Tourney as well that was ran in April in Austin previous to Gamers Reunion.

I have a confirmed date and location now
April 28th with 3:30 Registration 4PM start

This will be a five for fighting tourney, so each entrant will need to bring 5 decks. At the beginning of the tourney you will write down the order you will be playing the decks.

Rolls for Re-rolls
I am going to implement a new thing for this tourney that was used at a Warhammer tourney I attended. It is called rolls for re-rolls. What it amounts to is that for each roll of paper towels you bring with you to the tourney up to four you will get a re-roll token. In each of the first four games you will be able to use one token per game to re-roll one single die.

These paper towel rolls will then be donated to the Mower County Humane Society.

I thought it was a neat way to help a charity out and add an extra dimension to the game. It is obviously completely optional to bring the rolls, but if you do you get a little bonus, kind of like a literal karmic boost.

Would you like this tourney to be held on the same day as the Heroscape tourney either before or after?

Would it be better to have the tourney on the following weekend instead?

What would you expect the start and end times to be if they both occurred on the same day?

It would probably be from about 10 AM til about 10 PM. The heroscape would end around 5 and the SW would start about then.

Well there hasn't been a ton of input, but I think I will go ahead and plan on running a Summoner Wars Tourney after the Heroscape Tourney.

Yep, I will run it after the Scape Tourney at the same location. Should work out well!
