First Turn Dragos

I had a game where I went second against the Guild Dwarves and drew Forced Summon + Dragos. I thought about it.. And realized this is probably one of the better times to get out Dragos. With all those commons around he can go running around, killing and healing all over the place.

I am going to go out on a limb and say this is the best time to Force Summon Dragos. At the very least it will take your opponent a few turns to respond with a Champion, if he doesn't draw a Champion right away, it might take him a while to get one out. Of course, depending on what faction your playing against, they might not even need a Champion to respond to an early Dragos onslaught. Heroic Feats on Commons works... Savagers are beasts.. Tacullu...

In general though, first turn Dragos seems pretty damn good.

I did this once and really surprised my brother (he was playing as VG). My version also included a front line wall placement so I was able to get a couple wounds on his summoner. Unfortunately the push fizzled out when I was unable to summon enough support to keep up the attack and I ended up losing that game.

I lost to a first turn Drago and Elut Bal, it was a quick game for me as my wall was gone by turn 3 or somthing... I was playing as VG back in the days, I went first (vg suck going first...)

I don't remember that clear but it was, force summoned drago, summon Elut for free sacrificing all of his units, I think he even start moving Ret-talus a little higher up knowing I can't really hurt him this early... Drago and Elut start smacking my wall and/or killing all my crappy Knight which gets drained by Drago keeping him alive. At one point I remember using Holy Judgement on his Elut took it down 1 or 2 life but comes his turn he just Dark Sacrifice it back to almost full health... then pretty much I lost the game after that, I remember holding on to a SS event as well but was totally useless since he only had like 2 champions out at all time.

I think that was FK's scariest opening ever... pretty nutty.

Man, that's awesome.

I already did it too. Dragos is awesome because he is free with Forced Summon. I think it was against the VG, and never did they have to break formation as fast to deal with the oncoming onslaught. They lost when Skhull joined in with a ton of Zombies and Reapers which where totally controlling 3/4 of the board, within a couple of turns.
