Just randomly going through some BGG's rating, this member name schattentanz (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/schattentanz?rating=1&subtype=boardgame&ff=1) gave all SW's product a rating of 1 across, not 2 or 3 but all 1's

I mean I can understand if anyone rate a game a 3 or even 2, but all 1's on everything summoner wars related and nothing else? Have this person even played a single game of SW? Why would anyone rate Goodwin's Blade a 1 if they havent even try it... plus why would anyone play VG's reinforcement if they dont like SW's core set??

Yes I am SW fanboy and so are you if you're reading this thread in the official summoner wars forum. SW does not deserve a 1 on everything. /Hater gonna hate

That member is probably on here to be mean. He probably hates SW and just keeps saying how much he does. Rating verything SW 1 is just mean.

People are entitled to their ratings. I see no reason to give such people attention when clearly that is what they are after.

I actually noticed this today too and was wondering why he rated them all 1 so I looked through some of his posts and the only Summoner Wars related one I found was from a while back with an aquatic themed race suggestion, just made me even more confused.

There are zillions of people on BGG, and zillions of people have zillions of opinions. Also, people have different perceptions of how to calibrate their personal 1 to 10 scale.

For whatever reason, one guy out of a zillion wants to give 1's to SW. No big deal.

True everyone entitle of their opinion, I have no problem with that. This case here however, is just pure hate, the guy rated all the 1's at March, where Master Set and the latest reinforcement is not even out yet.

Heck, even half the master set preview is not out yet. This guy is just pure hating :mad:

It's the internet. Really, ratings of all kinds exist. I remember back in the restaurant a few months back where we got all sorts of ratings, where we got docked a few points because we didn't serve Starbucks coffee for instance. Yeah, no comment.

I remember that! Rage quit haha. Anyways, don't feel bothered by one person's random hate for a game. As long as you like playing the game, enjoy it, and don't let anyone persuade you otherwise.

I only have like 3 posts at BGG. However, my perception is that there is a great deal of people at BGG that fancy themselves a potential designer. Not to offend, but there are a bunch of know it alls there; I have never liked the place. I could definitely see some of the hatred coming from just being jealous of Colby's success.

After all Colby's story is a very rare one. He did/does freelance for the big bully Hasbro. He made his own company instead of selling his ideas and his first game was a home run. It is extremely rare, but of course Colby is a rare talent.

Seriously though, the title of the thread probably has the right of it. With time I've learned to not let stuff like this bother me.

I read my critics. I evaluate what they have to say. If it is something that I could improve in the future I take it into consideration. The rest I just let go. I've got enough to stress about with trying to run a growing company and keep a day job that it isn't worth stressing over what some guy on the internet said.

Awhile back every once in awhile Jexik would come at me with something someone on BGG or some such place said to hate on me or Summoner Wars. I remember one time I told Jexik... yeah well I've got a successful game and that guy has a post on Board Game Geek... I win.

- improved shipping options
- deluxe board
- rewarding top retailers with promo cards
- release of the master set
- improved storage options with Master Set
- fewer CUEs
- improved Vanguard performance (w/the reinforcements)
- the best art to date in the new master set
- reordering more custom dice

I'm sure there are more but this is an impressive list. I always see people online complaining about companies not hearing them but PHG has proven to be a customer-focused company. Each refinement seems to make things a little bit better for us gamers. I think most people here already appreciate this. I know I do.

People can be just plain creepy sometimes... yeah, I think its just some bum who thinks Truth is getting too much money for his stuff... money Truth rightly deserves.:D I love this game, I just wish I had enough money for the master set...:(
