The Filth is a new SW faction introduced in podcast 10, as well as the race for the at-this-time only remaining unspoiled DR character, the Fourth Vessel. Maybe I'm the last person here to know about it, but I thought I'd start a thread for them with known data and questions.
Apparently, they are self-mutating religious fanatics that become unspeakable monstrosities for their faith (which I can only hope is Lovecraftian in nature). Mechanically, the Filth are based around 0 cost commons that are enhanced with mutations to become useful in a variety of ways. Their summoner, the Demagog, can yoink mutation cards from the draw deck or the discard deck, so they should always be available to enhance their commons. Mutations are subbed in for commons.
Questions:
1. Do the Filth have champions, or very expensive mutations that create champion level mutants out of their 0 cost commons?
2. Colby mentioned only being able to have 2 mutations and that this makes the Filth all about variety. I assume this means only 2 of a particular mutation?
3. Do they end up breaking the normal number of cards in a deck rule? If their commons often essentially require two cards, does this make them especially vulnerable to being decked / Breaker-ed? I suppose this would depend on the cost of the Demagog's search ability...?
4. Do they still get Events? How many?
