The long awaited master set ships tomorrow. I would like to do a service by predicting future posts and saving people the trouble of posting them.

"Wow X faction is terrable, you cant win with them, they suck."

"Y faction is so good none of my friends can beat me with them"

Nothing of course prevents X and Y from being the same faction. So for simplicity sake, give the factions a few weeks before posting on the Strategy Forums with more spicific concerns.

This has been a public service announcement.

Yeah, every faction is overpowered if you lose to it.

Benders are ANNOYING!

But they don't win that often.

HOW DO I STOP VINE WALLS?!

Shadow Elves are OP!

Really? you think people will think their OP? I thought they were the most vanilla of the Master Set?

Their events are mean >_< Plus, if you think about it, the PE and GD and TO are pretty vanilla compared to the rest of the factions and they're consistently at the top, so vanilla doesn't mean bad or anything, just not as complicated.

The SE are another elf faction: fast and deadly People keep thinking the JE are overpowered, when they aren't. I think they just fit better with the usual "Attack the summoner quickly" style of play that a lot of people seem to like.

I also agree with Elcor's interpretation of vanilla.

Yeah, now that I think about it, with the Master Set being the first exposure some people will have with SW, the natural affinity/comfort with vanilla factions will have some people crying OP initially.

I fully expect that to be the case. I also feel like it will take people a while to figure out how to properly use vine walls.

Well, the word winning is quite objective, isnt it? ;)

I consider myself winning if I can frustrate my enemy with all the controlling shenanigans... so ya Benders are just trolling, they dont actually care about winning lolz
