Bio: Scouts are the epitome of Shadow Elf maneuverability. They report on what they find deep behind enemy lines, allowing the rest of their comrades to quickly overwhelm the foe.

Rulings and Clarifications
Q: Can Scouts stack?
A: Yes. If you have 3 Scouts on the opponent's side of the battlefield at the beginning of your turn, then you get 3 additional moves on that turn.

This was addressed in the previews, but whether scout stacks might should be a question.

I'm pretty sure that they do.

They sure do! It won't happen often or easily, but when you can manage to get at least 2 Scouts that survived in your opponent's zone, the Shadow Elves turn into this crazy rushing faction.

It's a snowball effect too: the more you have, the easier it is to get more into the zone. One must however be aware that the Shadow Elves still only get 3 attacks, so it's good not to only feed the opponent magic with the Scouts.

I think the scouts will be a very key part to the SE deck. I think the SE will rely on pressuring the opponent and the Scouts will definitely help you to do that.

Heck, with enough Scouts at the end of the field, you could move in a horde and surround their summoner. With caution, of course.;)

But these gals would do awesome with some CG fighters. Move the scouts, move the fighters. With Goblin Rush you'd just be all over your opponet, and gang-up would cause all sorts of chaos.

I can see them being pretty useful for regular play purposes. You won't get any extra vattacks, but that manuevering sets up all sorts of possibilities, especiallyu when combined with other SE abilities. You can use that extra move to move an additional ranger in place for a shadow arrow jump

Has anyone had much success with the Scouts? I've been having trouble getting themto activate and was wondering if they are worth it.

Their only real use--and I've only really seen Jexik have success with this so far--is to use them like he uses Fencers, in that they can be used to help crowd out a Wall once all the CUEs are off the table.

I'm not a huge fan, frankly.

You can't really rely on them. You need to use the Scouts as free backup, and follow other units with them so they aren't the main target, or crowd advanced enemy Walls.

Once in a while, your opponent will use his attacks to kill other units than the Scouts, and then you'll have to use that opportunity to use your additional movements. That will probably bring other Scouts on the other side, and so on.

They are also better when you are already winning. They allow you to bring many units on the other side, and your opponent won't be able to kill them all, so you'll be able to rush the summoner in some way. Their motive is to overflow the opponent. However, since you're still limited to 3 attacks, you have to be careful otherwise you'll just feed your opponent with Magic.

This hit it on the nail.

I believe Scout is an essential part of SE. They allow you to be able to keep the pressure so your enemy will have very hard time to recover, as you can tell or soon tell, SW game can sway back and forth, Scout is what I called "win-more" card, where if you are winning, you will keep on winning. Usually such win-more card are expensive but Scout is a free unit. Which is the reason why I overrate them than what other player would.

Another very good use I have not seen anyone suggest is to use Scout as meat shield, since they are 0 cost, place them in front and a swordman at back. You will force enemy to attack that little group or suffer large the very next turn... if they manage to off Scout you counter attack with swordman 2av and 3 movement... rinse and repeat until your enemy just run out of option to deal with it and becomes exhausted

Another VERY positive aspect to the Scouts is their defensive nature. A 0 coster is ALWAYS good as a blocker, since your opponent can't ever be safe from them. Even Magic Stasis doesn't block someone from playing 0 costers.

So if you're in a pinch, free unit on the go! And it can buy you time to place Selundar in a better spot to really counter attack next turn.

I think the key to understanding that Colby intended this ability to be stackable or should we say cumlative is at the start of the cards text.
It reads if this scout
rather than
If a scout
