I am currently working on a very compact version of the game that will literally fit in your pocket so you can bring Summoner Wars with you wherever you go ...EVERY DAY!!!!!
Of course I will run it past Truth for the final blessing before making it available to the public.
Granted it wont be as pretty as the actual game but it will be pretty handy.
Stay tuned.

But you cant carry all four decks, dice, board etc in your pocket.....well i guess if you had really big pockets you could

Sounds like we're in need of an official Summoner Wars fanny pack or man purse. Yeah, that's the ticket.
What about decks made completely of poker chips?
:D

 Way too close to Pogs.

I was jokingly referring to the people on Boardgamegeek that have replaced their Dominion games with homemade "Poker Chip" versions because they don't like to shuffle (or something).

I fit a SW box in each pocket of my pants a few weeks ago to take it to a buddy's house.

Summoner Wars in a Match Box
Get the teeny dice from Pirates Constructable Strategy Game
Shrink the cards to 1" x 1.5"
Print the map on a 4x5 note card and fold it 6 times
Good to Go!

It took me around 1 hour per Deck and I just made TO and JE.
You may not believe it, but the ability text is even readable (only
longer texts are not really). The cards have a size of 2,5cm x
3,8cm and are printed on glossy photo paper. They shuffle easily,
but only around 35 of them fit into one EU-sized match box.
(That's perfectly fine, however, SO won't fit cause of their VWs).
You can use the red dice as wound markers; The other dice colors
fit the respective faction. You can use the backside of the match
box for rolling the dice, this way they won't jump off the table.
Pushing the cards around works also pretty well, since they feel
like 'chips' because of the paper thickness.

I wouldn't recommend the pocket version for new players, though,
since it is almost nessecary that both players are able to recall all
their cards' abilities from memory. The small size does not help
new players to keep a good overview, either. However, for advanced
players it is surely a nice option for a pocket game 2-Go.

This is going to become somebody's hobby. Every weekend, they head to the garage/workshop/woods and meticulously carve wood Summoner Wars characters. Then, at age 60, they'll have enough to play a game with.
