Ok I know the rulebook is small and I have read it a few times but for the life of me I cannot find the answer....

Can you summon more than one unit at a time if you have the correct amount of cards in you magic pile as well as spaces adjacent to the walls?

Thanks GB....my boys are so used to playing Yu-Gi-O where you can only "summon" one card at a time and were telling me that they think that was the same here.

There's a silver-lining here:
The yu-gi-oh sleeves will fit the Summoner Wars cards perfectly.

Boy, they must have thought that the Goblin faction was LAME!

Any time a game tacks zeroes on to the end of it's values to make them "feel larger" without ever actually utilizing the ones place, it's a good sign that any other design decisions that were made should be taken with a salt lick, especially with regard to other games!

I tried that game for a while but soon realized that it wasn't as much about fun as it was competitiveness. I have hopes that Summoner Wars doesn't fall into that trap.

Me too. I've taught about 5-6 people to play and after the first game they are wanting to play again ASAP.

I don't think it ever clarifies that, but it never says there is a limit so in that case if it doesn't say something like that you have "choices".

Like with Gror's hammer quake it never says anything about line of sight or straight lines.
