So my copy of Summoner Wars made it in yesterday and over the course of a couple games with my sister we had couple questions.

1) If an Orc Shaman attacks a goblin under the effect of Goblin Invincability and it rolls say a 5 and a 6, does the goblin receive one wound or none?

2) Units under what's-her-name's blazing conscription do count towards your unit count for mana drain right? I though so, but she didn't.

1. A Shaman would have to roll 2 sixes to hit an Invincible Goblin. a 5 and a 6 would be a complete miss.

2. Units that you control for the turn, on account of Kaeseeall's blazing conscription, do count toward your unit total, and thus could effect your ability to play a card like Magic Drain.

1. A Shaman would have to roll 2 sixes to hit an Invincible Goblin. a 5 and a 6 would be a complete miss.
For general information, this ruling has been changed. In FAQ 1.3 it says:

Q: When a Shaman attacks, are die results of 3 or higher ALWAYS considered 'hits' even if some of the wounds are prevented?
A: Yes. For instance, if a Shaman rolls a 3 and a 6 when attacking a Tordok-boosted Common, an Invincible Goblin, a Tough Guardsman, a Wall-scaling Climber, or a Stone Melding Oldin, he will still score two "hits" and one wound will be prevented, so the units would take 1 wound in each of these cases. "Preventing a wound" prevents a wound, but does not turn hits into misses.

heh, you just made me remember how hard it is to search for this thread. But someone might still bump into it.
