If the Fighter attacks something, but fails to do damage (because he rolled a 1 or 2), does he still get to attempt the Frenzy?

Also, if he succeeds in a Frenzy roll, does the extra attack allow him yet another chance to frenzy (possibly chaining multiple attacks)?

If you fail on your attack you can still roll for frenzy, and you can chain multiple frenzies together.

It is not uncommon in our group for us to attack one of our own walls with a orc fighter in hope of a frenzy. :D

Isn't the ability called Fury?

I knew I wasn't going crazy. On the site the cards say Frezny...the physical cards say Fury. I feel a little better now.

Orc Fighters have a learning disability so they often get confused. Sometimes they call Furry Frenzy, much to the embarrassment of their peers.

A good barber could take of that...

I just noticed that as well. If I would have looked closer, I also would have noticed that my question was already asked and answered (http://www.plaidhatgames.com/sum_forums/showthread.php?t=52) a few days prior to my initial post.

Do the orc fighters have to move in order to take the extra attacks, or can they attack the same target multiple times as long as they keep making the roll for Fury. The card says "may" so I'm thinking they do not have to move...

Also, if an orc fighter is adjacent to a dwarf defender, does a successful Fury roll allow them to move even though the dwarf is using engauge?

LOVE this game... well done Truth!:)

Thanks

I think it can. Engage only restricts normal movement. Special powers like Fury are not considered normal movement.

I think that the Dwarf's engage would still work, even if a TO Fighter got Fury.

"That Unit cannot be moved" sounds pretty explicit.

Engage would prevent and furying fighter from moving. The only special powers that can get a unit away from a defender are ones that aren't movement powers but rather placement powers, like Sneeks' Sly and the Phoenix Warriors' Blaze Step.

They do not have to move after frenzying they can stay where they are at and attack again.

Sorry guys - I'm a bit late getting to the Summoner Wars party, but I'm on the scene now :D

I absolutely love how that card says Frenzy. I might print it out and proxy all of my Tundra Orc Fighters. I've been calling it Frenzy since I started playing.

I don't have the Dwarves yet, but I guarantee I'll be calling Engage "Cyberclaw".

To initiate the ability Fury, you must begin an attack and end an attack. When the attack ends; you have the choice to initiate fury. This means that whether you miss or hit fury can still be activated because you attempted an attack.

When you use fury you are initiating another attack, this means the requirements will be fulfilled again if you attack again. So yes you can keep using fury until your fury roll fails (be sure to attack after rolling for fury, if you forget it's to late to roll again).
