I'm surprised if this hasn't come up before, but I couldn't find it anywhere in the FAQ or the forums.

When I play a Magic Drain, I take two cards from the top of my opponent's Magic pile and put them on my own. When I do so, do I move the pair together, so that the one that was on top of my opponent's pile is now on top of mine? Or do I do them one at a time, so that the card that was on top of my opponent's pile is now the second card in mine?

This order can make a difference for Fallen Kingdom with regard to getting certain cards into the discard pile.

A similar question applies to killing Reapers (or Blarf): When a Reaper with cards under it is destroyed, how do you determine what order those cards go in the Magic pile?

Instead of answering your question, I'm going to pose another question that might shed some light on yours in the process:

Can I change the order of the cards in my magic pile during the idle periods of my turn? Or the opponent's turn, for that matter?

I think the rulebook mentions that new magic goes on top of the pile, be it through kills or through building. Though it doesn't mention it implicitly, I think that's enough as an implied statement that order does matter and should not be tampered with.

He asking the question: I get 2 magic(via magic drain, killing Blarf, etc.) He's not messing with the order of cards already in his Magic Pile, but he's asking: which card do I put on my Magic Pile first?

I think if you kill two units at the same time (w/ gror) you can just pick what order, when I kill blarf, I always flip him over and take the magic under with him on top, makes sense as it's stacked already.

I believe the correct answer is:

- Magic Drain takes the top 2 as is and puts it on your stack as is.
- Magic Augmentation (Blarf) allows a player puts a card underneath Blarf. The next card to be placed underneath Blarf is put on top of the previous card but below Blarf. Same goes for Soul Harvest.
- When Blarf or Reaper is removed from the field, Blarf or Reaper is first put into its appropriate place (Magic Pile, Discard Pile, or under a Reaper, depending), and then the cards underneath them is put in that order on top of the removing player's Magic Pile.
- When Gror kills multiple units, the attacking player decides in which order to put the units destroyed. If a Reaper or Blarf is among them, then when the Reaper or Blarf is killed, the cards underneath them is put into a separate queue until all damage is assigned. Then, that queue will be placed as is on top of the cards in the attacking player's magic pile.
