I have a number of questions after my first game with the Cave Goblins and Guild Dwarves:
- When Blarf is destroyed are the cards under Blarf also destroyed (i.e. put in the magic pile) or are they discarded (i.e. like freeze)?
- Do you need to feed the Eater at the end of your Attack Phase even if the Eater was not attacking?
- When attacking with the Cave Goblin Fighter do you also get a free move prior to the attack, or do you need to move Fighters during your normal Movement phase?
- When Gror is attacking an adjacent unit and uses his Hammer Quake does it affect cards that are diagonal to Gror, i.e. are all 24 spaces that are within 2 spaces of Gror affected?

1. The cards under Blarf are also added to the magic pile.
2. I don't know, I've actually never played him.
3. No free move, they only attack separately.
4. Diagonal cards are not affected.
Hope that helps, and that I'm right lol. You may also want to check the books for each unit in the future.

2. Yes, feed the eater triggers because he is on the board, not because he fought.
At least, that's how I've played him. He's worth it though.

For Gror, his area of effect looks like this:
X
XXX
XXGXX
XXX
X
You count the spaces like you could count movement.

Is this true? Because if so, Gror is a heck of a lot better than my group has been playing him as. Wow.

It is indeed very true.

Is THIS true? Because if it is, the Eater is a lot worse (or better, depending on how you look at it) than how I've been playing him, though I could see this going either way.
I played him as though Feed The Eater only kicked in when you activated him. If not, you're telling me I can attack with 3 Slingers, 2 Fighters AND Chomp a common with the Eater?

The Eater's card says after your attack phase, not after attacking with the Eater. So yes, you could potentially get 6 attacks with the goblins.

- When Blarf is destroyed are the cards under Blarf also destroyed (i.e. put in the magic pile) or are they discarded (i.e. like freeze)?
The rules state that all cards that are UNDER a UNIT that is destroyed, go with the unit. If the unit is DISCARDED all cards under the unit are discarded with it.
- Do you need to feed the Eater at the end of your Attack Phase even if the Eater was not attacking?
You MUST feed the Eater (The card says so) after your Attack Phase (The attack phase doesn't have to do with your attacks it is just a PHASE)
Whether you skip the attack phase or attack, your attack phase will always eventually end.
- When attacking with the Cave Goblin Fighter do you also get a free move prior to the attack, or do you need to move Fighters during your normal Movement phase?
The card says nothing about moving, this ability just has to do with attacking, so they are not allowed to attack with the other units but they MUST move with the other units.
- When Gror is attacking an adjacent unit and uses his Hammer Quake does it affect cards that are diagonal to Gror, i.e. are all 24 spaces that are within 2 spaces of Gror affected?
The card says NOTHING about a straight line or a clear sight line, therefor you just count up everything within two spaces, all of these units are affected.
