I am not a sales manager or something but as a fan, i will have problem paying more just to help with the continuation of a game.

Maybe you think that i am crazy but i have seen many great games perish because of lack of funds....

$9.95 or so for one pack of 35 cards (a complete faction) is on par with what other card games charge for around that many cards. I have to stay competitive. If you are concerned about my profit margin, buy direct from the website. When you purchase direct I make about 5 times as much on the sale. I'm looking to release the premium board at around the same time, and that will be a PlaidHatGames.com exclusive, so I'm hoping that will be a good reason for players to package it together with some of the expansions and buy direct.

I will guess about abilities again. I'm thinking something like Alastair MacDirk's Overextend. To really get use out of him, you have to sacrifice some life. It seems that this strange Light is powerful, but also dangerous.

I haven't had any problems with international shipping, but I know it can happen, I don't have anything any safer than the usual USPS and FedEx.
