I'm curious as to what this reveals about his personality. The highly ceremonial armor suggests--at least to me--that he is most likely the sit-on-a-highly-ornamented-throne-on-a-hill-watching-his-glorious-hordes-bash-the-living-snot-out-of-the-puny-Vanguard-barbarians kind of Summoner, and that suggests a smaller attack value, certainly with range, with maybe a control-freak ally-buffing special ability.

But then again, I could be completely wrong. In the Last-Alliance-of-Elves-and-Men-Flashback part of the Lord of the Rings movie Sauron didn't look like the hands-on kind of general either. Of course in his case it was okay that his armor was built more for intimidation than freedom of movement, since all he had to do was swing his gigantic mace from side to side (although in that particular situation it didn't work out terribly well).

Wow. Yes, I definitely am going to be spending more money on this game.

And as far as his functionality, he actually looks more like the wade into combat and beat things to a pulp (and fry one with a sorcery every once in a while) type. I'm at least envisioning some kind of a situation where his minions are almost disposable and he's the real force of doom. Either way, I can't wait to see this set released.

Just down right evil looking -- I like it.

Of course at our house he will be called Ret-lawus

Another point for his personality is that he's been the only Summoner for the last 1000 years. I am not exactly sure what that entails, but I am guessing that his event cards are much more refined than other Summoners. He has had all the time in the world to perfect his technique. Then again, he has had no reason to innovate, so I predict tons of orthodox events. A Hero Is Born, Magic Drain, etc.
