I was curious to ask, how are we going to receive more stuff about the stories of each faction? Will they be posted online, or maybe extra stuff in future sets?
Anyway, it's very interesting how some of the bios intertwine. some of them are very personalized, like Tacullu's, and some give us a broader perspective of the factions diplomatic relations to the whole situation, like the Vanguards.
I really just can't wait to see more about the story. Possibly anxious enough to start some fan-fics. ^^

You should DO IT!!!
Haha, I already started one. Be prepared to meet the feared elite psycomancer of the Benders. Even Tacullu is cautious when around him.

Awesome. I can hardly wait, fluff and fan fiction really helps keep things interesting.
I can also tell by your analysis of the existing lore that you are story minded.

Tacullu, the director of the Psycomancer University, and myself all walked in silence down the hallway, illuminated by runes running along the walls. I have been a student at the University of Phycomancy for nearly 5 years now and had never seen runes like these. I was awed by their intricacy and how they seemed to flow into each other like waves of energy seething out of the neatly marked line ends.
After failing to follow the maze of twists marked on the wall, even at the slow pace which we walked, I broke the silence. "What kind of weapon needs this much protection from the outside?"
Surprisingly, Tacullu was the first to answer "It is not that we are protecting the weapon from the outside, we are protecting the outside from the weapon."
The director then interjected, "A weapon unquestioningly follows orders and fires when it's told to fire, is what Tacullu is trying to say...."
"...but this is a weapon we can't depend on for that." Tacullu interrupted. "I still believe the grand counsel has made a rash decision, I can defend against Ret-Talus myself!"
"Can you do that, Tacullu? The director quickly responded, "and can you also protect the already splintering Bender empire from the Turn Cloak offensives? You may have been granted the summoning stone as the leader of our military but you are still one man. I'm not saying I fully agree with the Counsel but for our empire to stand we must use the resources we have available."
Tacullu was clearly aggravated, "You mean you will trust this little deterrent to hold the fate of our empire?" He motioned toward me, at which I was confused.
"That's enough Tacullu! This is our last chance to use this opportunity to turn the tide of recent battles. Weapon or not, he is our hope to hold the capital. When we lose here we lose everything."
"When we release Him we will have lost already." Tacullu continued to argue, "He slaughtered our own people."
"He also won a losing war and left the empire standing against forces far more numerous than our own." The director then signaled that the argument was over, "Even I cannot ignore the counsel."
He then turned to me and said, "These runes are not to keep people out, they are to keep Davon in."
We reached the end of the hallway which was lit by more runes. The director looked at me again "Anya, soldiers are weapons, but sometimes soldiers stop wanting to be weapons for other people. At that point, few things can control a soldier. That is what we are afraid of."
At this I thought back to childhood stories of heroes, warriors, and brave fighters that had once ruled battlefields. They often were fanciful stories of love, courage, and hope. But, what if those heroes stopped wanting to fight and didn't defend their princesses?
The director motioned for Tacullu and I to stand on a rune with him. He rose his arms and a surge of energy dispersed from his hands. Simultaneously, the three of us began to sink. When the director lowered his hands we had appeared in a vacant room.............

Nice story. However I don't think Tacullu is the type that would ever show any sign of aggravation. He seems like he would be in control of his emotions all the time. That's why he is the creme of the crop when it concerns the Benders.

I dunno, I took it to mean that this was one thing that Tacullu felt strongly about. He sounded pretty demanding and emotional when asking the demon for the name of the girl in his bio.
Anyways, General Rolando, you have my respect for having the balls to tread where I dare not: possible canon interpretations.

I can't say much about the characters yet without giving away spoilers. I will say though that I hadn't really thought at all about Tacullu's bio when writing this. Most connections between the two are coincidental.
Speaking of spoilers, does anyone know how to put in spoiler tabs in posts? I want to put each section in the first post but I don't want to end up with a 30 page first post by the time i'm done writing.

... The three of us stood for a moment in silence upon entering the empty room. It was a well lit room by light stones. From what I could tell, the room was underground. It was unexpectedly warm.
The room was not a place one would expect to keep a weapon that supposedly ran out of control without proper care. It looked more like, although rather empty, a home of sorts. There was a table against one wall, a chair in the corner, and what looked to be a bed among the opposite wall.
Confused, I looked around Tacullu and the Director to inspect what I couldn't see at first glance, nothing. I then looked to my left again, nothing. I looked right once more... left... "Wah!" I squeaked involuntarily. Where there was once empty space, there now stood a tall man with a lock coat and a mask completely covering his face except for his jaw. Still startled by his sudden appearance, I glanced at the director and around the room. The director almost looked nearly as shocked but his expression faded. He was looking to another corner where a second man, identical to the first, had appeared.
I quickly turned back toward the first man, and another stood near him, again identical. I kept looking toward different sections of the moderate sized room. Wherever I looked another man appeared, men wearing masks. I must have looked a flurry as I kept turning frantically trying to escape the confusion. Only Tacullu looked un-phased by the many appearing men, but I couldn't tell if he was looking at any of them underneath his cloak.
The men finally stopped replicating when the director shouted, "Stop! Reveal your true self."
The men responded in unison in intimidating, but young-ish, voices. "My true form is what you see. Every one of me is my true form."
"Then show yourself as one, for those whom are less learned."
The men, in pairs, began to walk toward each other. As they got close enough to touch, one seemed to simply dwarf the other and they become one being. They continued to do this until there was only one man left standing in front of the three us.
With the many multiples of him gone it was much easier to comprehend his physical characteristics and attire. He was taller than either Tacullu or the director, he wore a pure white cape with grey clothing, and on his lock jacket were runes much similar to the ones on the walls in the hallway we passed. His mask was a dark indigo color, completely obscuring his vision. I also noticed that wrapped tightly around his legs were more lock straps with uniform runes. Had he not been walking around just a moment ago?
He spoke: "I assume 'less learned' is attributed to yourself director. You arrogantly come here hoping to use my power against your enemies, little Anya is too innocent and naive to truly know what I am, and only Tacullu, the man who cast away his mortal being, respects my presence."
I wanted to ask, "How does he know my name?" but immediately at the thought a voice rang in my head like the multitudes of men we had just seen: "I see all, I know all, you were a captive of mine since you set foot in my presence."
Before I was able to comprehend the thought the Director stated: "It is your enemy as well. You are a part of the Bender empire, if we fall, you fall."
The man quickly retorted, "I am no longer a citizen of the Benders. You locked me here as a war criminal, and now you come to release me as a weapon? I am a soldier no longer. I do not follow orders."
Something was strange. Immediately once we started talking the man seemed to know exactly what we were here for. How had he known? Many a master sorcerer even couldn't master the art of thought reading.
"I believe you still see it in your best interest to follow Bender rule." The director said while putting a hand on my shoulder, "After all, your strength is on par with the whole Bender army, you alone can hold back a battalion of Fallen Kingdom."
"Your thoughts betray you, Director. You wish to release me but you still fear a monster born of war. Well, that's all that's left for me isn't there? War?"
"We protect the empire from what we believe to be a threat."
"And that's all that I am. A threat! A threat can only be controlled by another threat. Fortunately for you, you have that key of control."
Even through his thick mask that blocked his vision he seemed to look at me.
"Enough, Davon!" the director barked, "I did not come to appease your need to quarrel."
"Of course you didn't." Davon irritably responded, "As discussed, I am but a weapon. Not a human being anymore but a puppet for the masters."
I began to feel an uneasy measure of darkness swirling around. He started to speak inside my mind again. Unnatural feelings of hatred and dread began to fester. I felt myself losing sanity, my mind felt like it was departing from my body.
"I'm plagued by war!" yelled Davon, "simply because a beast was awakened inside of me."
Then suddenly the room was deadly quiet. Davon left on his knees straining while Tacullu stood in front of him. The lock runes were seething energy directly into Davon's chest. The dark presence left and the voices taking over my mind were gone.
It left something though. A memory that was not once there. Faint and blurry, but there all the same. Something disturbing, corrupting, and angry.
"Leave him for now." The director commended, "He'll stay here until he is called to duty. Lets leave, he won't effect anything until battle."
I had an odd urge that told me different. Something has changed already......
