Expanding current factions?

Just wondering if the current factions we have will be expanded with new characters/units/events down the road.

Yes, there will be reinforcement packs, as well as new faction packs.

They said we will get new Summoners, Events, Champions, and Commons for the existing factions as well as new factions.
