Has anyone else started prepping them for painting?

I think it'll add pizazz to my demos

I actually got out of 40k because painting was fun, but so time consuming. So I'm definitely not ruining my DR figures with paint when I get it

Nice job Jormi! Won't necessarily win a golden demon but pretty sharp all around

Yeah, the minis could never win a golden demon no matter who paints them. They just aren't good enough minis. The material is really rubbery so the detail isn't held real well.

Yeah. I think their great from a company that doesnt do mini's, but high quality minatures are a very specialized product. and an expensive one at that

Hi all, here are my painted minis....I know... no awards but it makes the game look so cool!

Even after a few months they remain a bit tacky and very soft. I've sprayed them with a sealer too. Has anyone had this issue and know why?

These look great, guys. I wish I felt confident learning to paint. I'd hate for Dungeon Run or Mice and Mystics to be my first stab at it and mess them up bad. I keep thinking of hiring a friend but I know how slow they are painting their war game minis.

Jormi, those look fantastic as usual. Teeto, you'll be happy to know that the Mice and Mystics minis are made of hard plastic and are really easy to paint in the sense that the paint will stick without any tackiness.

Thanks! I can't wait to paint up a set of Mice and Mystics!

Even after a few months they remain a bit tacky and very soft. I've sprayed them with a sealer too. Has anyone had this issue and know why? What kind of sealer? Mine remained tacky the entire time I was painting them so I had to be very careful about fingerprints. But then I used Dull Coat to seal them and they are not tacky at all and have been massively played. I'll post them up this weekend.
