Common Battle 2013: Update #2

So it's been way too long since I've been around to update, but never fear! I have returned! The second round of the Common Battle 2013 is drawing to a close. So I decided to look to a couple of the more accurate predictors thus far. So today we have with us Darkbladecb and Thenobleknave for a quick Q&A!

Jebuh214: "Hey guys, since you're some of the top predictors so far, I figured I'd ask you a few quick questions. So first off, what are you thoughts on the brackets so far?"

thenobleknave: "WTF Scholars why you let me down?!?! In all seriousness, I'm quite pleased with how things have turned out, other than seriously overestimating how much people like DD Scholars over CL Slashers."

darkbladecb: "I'm pretty surprised by the recent Mind Witch win. I find them to be a novelty, but not much more. I think the rest of the event so far has been fairly straight forward."

Jebuh214: "Haha, so are there any other upsets or anything that you really weren't expecting to happen that did?"

darkbladecb: "There haven't really been any really surprising upsets so far."

thenobleknave: "My other two upsets thus far have been CG Fighters besting MR Demon Hands, and TO Thwarters besting FL Spellsucker. I don't feel too bad about either of those because I think they're matchups I can see having gone the other way, and they were both close in votes earned in low-turnout rounds."

Jebuh214: "So lastly, any last thoughts about the brackets or just Common Battle in general?"

darkbladecb: "In regards to the upsets, I expect it to change as things go along and if any of the weaker sections of the bracket get fan support for a quirky underdog, but we'll have to see."

thenobleknave: "Maybe I'll start running a few more Slashers in my CL deck; they are a fun Unit. I'll be surprised if they don't make it another two rounds in the Common Battle, but I think their days are numbered before they get crushed by a bigger foe. Huge thanks to Jebuh for organizing this, and may the best bracket win!"

Jebuh214: "Sweet! Thanks to the both of you for doing this!"

So you heard it here from some of the best! There haven't been that many upsets thus far, but who knows, there may be a strong push for that underdog who's been patiently waiting for it's time to shine!
